What you will do

  • Develop and execute manual and automation test strategies aligned with business and technical requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance to other SDETs and conduct automation code reviews with peers.
  • Promote the implementation of automation frameworks and best practices to identify and close process gaps.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including DevOps and Product Owners, to embed quality from design to delivery.
  • Manage quality metrics, report test results, and lead root cause analysis for critical issues.
  • Drive and influence the adoption of shift-left testing methodologies.

Requirements

  • Professional experience in a quality engineering test automation role for software systems.
  • Strong programming and scripting skills in Python.
  • Expertise in automation frameworks using BDD/TDD (e.g., Cucumber) and API testing tools like Postman or Bruno.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Bamboo.
  • Proficiency in AWS cloud services (S3, Lambda, Event Bridge, Glue, Batch) and SQL for backend verification.
  • Experience with Agile testing, SDLC practices, and version control using Git.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Big Data testing.
  • Exposure to AI/ML model testing and validation.
  • Knowledge of observability tools such as CloudWatch and Splunk.
  • Experience with security testing tools.
