What you will do

• Review and pre-underwrite supporting documentation such as paystubs, W-2s, and bank statements to verify borrower eligibility.
• Perform advanced income analysis, including complex and self-employed borrower scenarios.
• Conduct credit reviews, assess borrower risk profiles, and determine appropriate loan products.
• Run and interpret automated underwriting findings through DU and LP.
• Strategically structure loan scenarios, including DTI management and debt-payoff strategies.
• Coordinate file setup, disclosures input, and loan presentation for timely processing.

Requirements

• 7+ years of mortgage processing or underwriting experience.
• Knowledge of RESPA guidelines and all mortgage and consumer regulations.
• Proficiency with DU, LP, Microsoft Outlook, and Windows.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills for advanced income calculations.
• Excellent communication, prioritization, and time management skills.
