Location: Hybrid (Vancouver, BC)
Salary: $90,000 - $140,000 a year

What you will do
- Develop a Houdini pipeline across lookdev, lighting, CFX, and FX using USD and Solaris as a backbone.
- Write high-quality, well-tested, and maintainable Python code.
- Collaborate with artists to identify inefficiencies and gather technical requirements.
- Create intuitive, self-documenting workflows capable of handling scenes of extreme scale and complexity.
- Contribute to technical briefs and user documentation.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience writing Houdini pipeline code using Python.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) patterns.
- Demonstrated ability to design intuitive, artist-friendly workflows.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be based in or be able to work in Vancouver, BC
Nice to have
- Experience as an FX artist using Houdini in production.
- Experience building Houdini pipelines using USD / Solaris.
- Experience with PDG / TOPs.
