TL;DR

Business Systems Analyst (Salesforce): Designing and implementing scalable systems for Sales operations, translating business requirements into functional designs and solutions with an accent on optimizing sales and partner processes, deal velocity, and IT/Business roadmap execution. Focus on fostering trust, identifying process inefficiencies, and driving adoption of technology solutions that scale with business growth.

Location: Onsite in Santa Clara, CA, required 5 days a week

Salary: $126,000–$189,000 USD annually

What you will do

  • Design and implement scalable systems to streamline sales motions and improve deal velocity.
  • Analyze, document, and translate business requirements into functional designs and scalable solutions.
  • Partner with Sales Operations, Partner Operations, and Product Management to define and execute IT and Business roadmaps.
  • Build rapport and credibility across business and technical teams, ensuring seamless communication.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, improving collaboration, identifying process inefficiencies, and driving technology adoption.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst supporting Salesforce within an IT or technology-driven organization.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud.
  • Deep understanding of Lead-to-Opportunity and Opportunity-to-Close processes.
  • Experience writing user stories, BRDs, and functional design documents.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent communication.
  • Ability to work on-site 5 days a week in Santa Clara, CA.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery models.

Nice to have

  • Experience with CPQ.
  • Knowledge of Marketing, Quote-to-Cash processes, Partner Ecosystem, EDI.
  • Salesforce certifications (Administrator, Sales Cloud Consultant).
  • Familiarity with integrations (ERP, Billing, Marketing Automation).
