DevOps Engineer (GCP): Strengthening the reliability, scalability, and security of a platform by operating and improving Google Cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes clusters with an accent on Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform and automating CI/CD pipelines. Location: Hybrid in Berlin, Germany. Relocation support to Germany available.

What you will do

• Operate, maintain, and continuously improve Google Cloud–based infrastructure and Kubernetes clusters.
• Build, manage, and evolve Infrastructure-as-Code setup using Terraform and Terramate.
• Enhance and automate CI/CD pipelines to improve deployment speed and reliability.
• Improve monitoring, observability, and alerting with Prometheus and Grafana.
• Participate in incident response, troubleshooting, and post-mortems.
• Collaborate closely with backend teams to design resilient, scalable services.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Engineering roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with GCP, Kubernetes, and Terraform/Terramate.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Experience with Prometheus and Grafana for monitoring and observability.
• Good knowledge of networking, Linux systems, and system design fundamentals.
• Experience contributing to security, reliability, or compliance improvements (e.g., ISO27001).

Nice to have

• Experience with Helm or other Kubernetes tooling.
• Exposure to DevSecOps practices or vulnerability scanning.
• Familiarity with SOC2/ISO27001 audits or security automation.
• Experience working in high-availability SaaS environments.
• Knowledge of SQL databases or distributed systems concepts.
