What you will do

• Design, develop, and implement backend services and APIs using Python frameworks.
• Integrate software components with storage hardware and firmware.
• Develop tools for hardware testing, configuration, and monitoring.
• Write clean, well-documented, and testable code.
• Participate in code reviews and troubleshoot software and hardware issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, firmware, and QA engineers.

Requirements

• Location: Hybrid work arrangement in Guadalajara, Mexico
• English: Advanced level (C1) required
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
• Familiarity with RESTful API design, version control (Git), and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience working with storage hardware APIs or protocols and Python-based hardware automation.

Nice to have

• Master's degree preferred.
• Knowledge of data serialization formats like JSON, YAML, Protocol Buffers.
• Experience with performance analysis and optimization in Python.
