TL;DR

Manager Client Services Ops (HCM/Payroll): Leading and managing a team of Executive Account Managers to ensure client satisfaction and retention within the Growth client segment with an accent on issue resolution, proactive client servicing, and process optimization. Focus on developing strategies, coaching staff, and collaborating cross-functionally to support complex clients effectively.

Location: 100% in-office role based at Rochester, NY. This position is not available for remote or hybrid work. This role can be performed from any office in the US.

Salary: $74,000–$115,000/yr

What you will do

  • Develop strategies and initiatives to enhance and maintain client satisfaction and retention.
  • Lead and manage a team of Executive Account Managers, providing coaching and guidance.
  • Monitor team workload, ensuring appropriate balance of volume, priority, and client alignment.
  • Manage the hiring and onboarding of new team members, emphasizing the establishment of strong trusted relationships.
  • Generate creative solutions and innovative ideas to increase employee engagement and retention.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners, including Technical Services, Finance, Tax, Sales, Support, Distribution, and Implementation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 2+ years of previous leadership experience in a customer service/customer relationship role.
  • Experience using reporting and metrics as a key part of the job (Monthly/Quarterly KPIs).
  • Previous experience in HCM/Direct Payroll Industry.
  • Experience working with payroll, HCM, or HRIS software.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, including MS Excel.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • This role is an onsite position, requiring work in the Rochester, NY office five days per week.
