TL;DR

Senior Java Developer (Backend): Building and evolving scalable, cloud-native backend services and large-scale distributed data ingestion pipelines with an accent on real-time analytics, distributed systems, and cloud platform integration. Focus on designing, implementing, and owning features end-to-end while collaborating in agile teams and maintaining high code quality and test coverage.

What you will do

  • Design and implement scalable, cloud-native services in Java.
  • Collaborate with team members during planning, technical discussions, and code reviews.
  • Take end-to-end ownership of features and deliver with autonomy.
  • Analyze product requirements and propose implementation strategies.
  • Write and maintain automated tests at all levels to uphold high product quality.

Requirements

  • English: B2 level or higher required.
  • Experience: 5+ years building scalable, reliable backend systems using Java.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (preferably GCP, AWS or Azure acceptable).
  • Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Familiarity with message brokers like Kafka, Google Cloud Pub/Sub, RabbitMQ.
  • Work format: Remote or Hybrid as appropriate to role and location.

Nice to have

  • Proficiency with Python and strong testing mindset (unit, integration, contract, E2E).
