What you will do

  • Drive rapid infrastructure modernization for National Defence customers, focusing on hybrid IT solutions including compute, storage, network, and cloud services.
  • Collaborate with government personnel and internal teams to design tailored technical solutions and create detailed proposals and blueprints.
  • Provide technical leadership during sales and pre-implementation phases, ensuring smooth transition to engineering teams.
  • Assess existing network infrastructures and ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with best practices.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with partners, vendors, and key stakeholders to support sales and delivery.
  • Stay current with industry trends and maintain relevant technical certifications.

Requirements

  • Location: Must be based in or willing to work onsite in Ottawa, Canada.
  • 7+ years of experience in technology sales or technical pre-sales, with a focus on infrastructure modernization.
  • Strong knowledge of data center infrastructure, Cisco, storage solutions, and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
  • Experience working with National Defence or similar government clients, with ability to align technology solutions to mission objectives.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • TS clearance highly desired or eligibility to obtain Secret or higher clearance.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.

Nice to have

  • Bilingualism in English and French.
  • Knowledge of MEDDPICC sales methodology.
  • Relevant technical certifications or commitment to obtain them.
