What you will do
- Drive infrastructure modernization initiatives for National Defence customers, focusing on hybrid IT solutions including compute, storage, network, and cloud services.
- Collaborate with account directors, government personnel, and sales teams to understand needs and develop tailored technical proposals and solution blueprints.
- Provide technical leadership during sales and pre-implementation phases, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and industry best practices.
- Participate in network infrastructure assessments and audits to ensure solution scalability and security.
- Maintain relevant technical certifications and stay updated on industry trends.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with partners, vendors, and key stakeholders.
Requirements
- Location: Must be based in Ottawa, Canada
- 7+ years of experience in technology sales or technical pre-sales, preferably with National Defence and infrastructure modernization.
- Strong knowledge of Cisco, storage solutions, private, hybrid, and public cloud platforms including Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud.
- Ability to manage relationships at all organizational levels and mobilize stakeholders effectively.
- Exceptional communication skills and a client-focused service approach.
- TS clearance highly desired or eligibility to obtain Secret or higher clearance
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
Nice to have
- Bilingualism in English and French.
- Knowledge of MEDDPICC sales methodology.
- Relevant technical certifications or commitment to obtain them.
