What you will do

• Manage and mentor a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of growth and excellence.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, and Design teams to deliver high-quality solutions on time.
• Lead technical direction and translate business vision into actionable plans.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks, communicating proactively with stakeholders.
• Conduct regular team meetings to assess progress and improve communication.
• Provide updates to senior leadership and advocate for the engineering team’s needs.

Requirements

• Must have 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proven leadership experience managing engineering teams and delivering complex projects.
• Expertise in Java or Kotlin, distributed backend systems, scalable solutions, and microservice architectures.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle and agile methodologies.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently with coordination during core hours (8:00 to 11:00 am PT).
