What you will do

• Lead the technical design and architecture of innovative product features with a focus on UX, UI, and WCAG accessibility.
• Champion an AI-first engineering culture by utilizing tools like Gemini and Claude to accelerate coding and documentation.
• Collaborate with designers to prototype AI-enhanced user experiences and translate them into scalable micro frontends.
• Drive engineering excellence through high-level code reviews and continuous improvement of CI/CD pipelines.
• Mentor mid-level and junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical curiosity and psychological safety.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional frontend software engineering experience delivering complex web applications at scale.
• Advanced expertise in React, modern JavaScript/TypeScript, and state management.
• Demonstrated habit of utilizing AI tools (e.g., Claude, GCP Gemini Code Assist) to improve developer velocity.
• Strong advocacy for Test-Driven Development (TDD) and experience with modern UI/E2E testing frameworks.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent real-world experience.
• Must be based in Toronto for hybrid office attendance.

Nice to have

• Experience designing and scaling micro frontend architectures.
• Ability to navigate other languages in the stack such as Python and Go.
