What you will do

• Establish and maintain an enterprise-wide alert rationalization framework to optimize signal-to-noise ratios.
• Define the enterprise taxonomy for alerts, including naming conventions, metadata requirements, and severity thresholds.
• Partner with monitoring tool owners (Datadog, Dynatrace, Splunk) to embed standards into monitoring infrastructure.
• Own the runbook and playbook catalog, ensuring every actionable alert has clear triage and escalation instructions.
• Mentor service owners on observability patterns, including Golden Signals and SLO-based alerting.
• Define routing logic for incident response to determine when immediate human intervention is required.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in SRE, Observability, Monitoring Engineering, or large-scale Incident Management.
• Deep proficiency with modern observability stacks such as Datadog, AppDynamics, Prometheus, Grafana, or Splunk.
• Strong understanding of incident response workflows, service ownership models, and CMDB dependency mapping.
• Proven success in defining and enforcing enterprise standards across cross-functional teams.
• Must be based in the United States.
