What you will do

• Analyze business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to ensure quality standards.
• Design and execute functional test cases across web, mobile, and API-based solutions.
• Validate end-to-end business processes and critical banking business rules.
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects throughout the testing lifecycle using Jira.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and business stakeholders to align quality throughout the SDLC.
• Mentor QA team members and act as a trusted advisor to promote continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
• Strong expertise in functional testing for web, mobile, and API applications.
• Professional experience working in banking or financial services environments.
• Proficiency with Jira, SQL, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Proven experience leading, mentoring, or guiding QA teams and quality initiatives.
• Must be based in Bogotá, Colombia
