What you will do

• Perform Holter monitor testing and scanning according to established protocols.
• Analyze heart rhythms and identify adverse arrhythmias to inform nurses or physicians.
• Instruct and educate patients regarding ordered tests and prepare them for procedures.
• Document patient symptoms, monitor strips, and records in the EHR and billing systems.
• Maintain monitor equipment and coordinate necessary repairs or replacements.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams and assist in orienting new staff.

Requirements

• Must live in the State of Iowa.
• Valid Iowa Driver’s/Chauffeur's License.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for the Healthcare Provider certification (to be obtained by the end of orientation).
• Completion of Mandatory Reporter abuse training within three months of hire.
• Basic computer skills.
• English: B2 required

Nice to have

• Previous Holter Tech experience.
• EKG/Arrhythmia training or telemetry monitoring experience.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Willingness to take the CCI-Certified Rhythm Analysis Technician (CRAT) Exam within 18 months of hire.
